It is very very difficult to find an ivory dress shirt for a boy. Ridiculously difficult. Everything out there is white. This shirt will serve your purposes for an inexpensive ivory shirt under a vest or a suit. It's somewhat see through so if you are just wearing it plain with a tie during the day, you might need a t-shirt underneath it. You will want to wash this shirt a couple of times prior to wear because the inside seams are itchy. I would probably have given this shirt a three if there was anything out there to compare it to that wasn't terribly overpriced. You get what you pay for with this shirt and it is perfectly sufficient.Purchased for toddler to wear to wedding. It fit greatMy son is 22 lbs and 13 months, so we ordered a 12-18 month shirt, which said it should fit 18-22 lb boys. He fit in both the age and size ranges, so I was sure it would be right. But it was really big on him, so I'm now ordering a 6-12 month shirt, which is for 13-17 lb boys. Sound ridiculous to put something that small on him, but the 12-18 looked horrible. So we'll see...And this is even more confusing when I read the other reviews that say this shirt runs small.The shirt itself is pretty cheap feeling, but has a nice stiff collar and will work for our occasion.This shirt is decent for the price. My only concern is that it is very see through, especially in bright lighting. An under shirt is noticeable, so I’m uncertain if I will use this for my son. Also, the sleeve bottoms are sewed, so rolling up sleeves is not an option.I bought these for my 2- 2yr old grandsons for a wedding... They are the PERFECT color Ivory! And from a distance look great. However, the material is EXTREMELY thin (you can see right through) and they are very SHORT! I purchased 3T - and they currently wear between a 2T/3T. This shirt fit in arms, but the length is very short! We are putting vests over them, so as soon as I can see the vest with the shirt, we will determine if we will keep them.Update... Added a pic... they looked perfect with the vest and we didn't see the length at all!!I had a hard time finding a white button down shirt for my infant son. Instead of renting an expensive suit my wife made it a challenge to find the perfect outfit online. We started with this shirt and it was perfect. It was long enough to tuck in, looked very dressy, and worked well with wearing a bow tie. If you need a dressy shirt for a wedding or any other special event this shirt is perfect.I ordered this shirt to be used in a wedding. My son typically wears a size 4 and after reading the other reviews, I ended up ordering a 5. The 5 will fit, but I wish that I would have ordered the 6 as he has literally no growing room. The material was also very thin. Considering the price though, it's an ok shirt. Just definantly order larger than what you typically would!I had read a review advising that the sizes were quite small so I ordered a 4yr old shirt for my 3yr old son - he's a small to medium 3 year old I'd say and this shirt fits fine. The material is thin but the colour was right and its only to be worn for a wedding for 1 day so happy overall!
