I give this 4-1/2 stars. The only problem I encountered is that there is not enough padding at the ball of the foot area, so I inserted foot pads for comfort and it was fine for dancing roughly 3-4 hours. I wear 8-1/2 and bought a size 9 as well. The 8-1/2 is true to size, so I returned the size 9. The height is perfect and the extra strap across the instep is ideal for ballroom dancing.Great looking shoe for day or night. I sized up a half size from 7 1/2 to size 8 M because of the posted reviews and glad I did because they run a little small! Giving them 4 stars because I have not worn the shoes out yet but I love the way they look and feel. They look just as picture online.I needed a new pair of heels for my nieces wedding/reception so I chose these. I love these heels. These shoes are so cute and they’re really comfy...up to a point. I hardly ever wear heels but when I do I can only wear then for an hour or two before I’m dying. These shoes are a different story. I was able to wear these shoes 7 plus hours before my feet started hurting.Love these shoes. I ordered 1/2 a size up planning to add gel insoles,which weren't needed. I have a slight stress fracture in my left foot (from wearing heels) so I have to be a little careful buying shoes. They are surprisingly comfortable even after wearing them shopping for four hours. I would definitely recommend them to a friend, Or maybe not.....these are mine!Update: these have held up for years and are still my favorites. Thank you Sam Edelman!Very glad I read the reviews and ordered a half-size larger. The half-size up fit well, and they are relatively comfortable. Color is different than pictured - would definitely call the color in photo more of a tan, but the color they are in person is a very light taupe, or oatmeal as the color is called. Still cute. Just wish they were more like color pictured.Loved these shoes but they run small. I wanted to exchange them but I was told I would have to pay the difference on the increased price (70 to 120)An absolutely beautiful shoe. My favorite brand and I'm usually a 9. I've tried the 9 and 9.5 and they're so tight and small. They're so nice that I might even try the 10 but I'm so sick of the guessing work. If they fit you, lucky you. What a beautiful shoe and quality with a not too tall heel.They are very pretty...perfect heel height...but they were unusually snug. I love Sam...but these are snug...breaking them in anyway :)
